Navigating Solo™ Community Membership
Find Your People. Stay Connected. Move Forward.
Aging solo does not mean doing everything alone.
Many of us are making important decisions without the built-in family support that traditional systems often assume will be there. We may be asking:
Who could I call in an emergency?
Who might I ask to be my healthcare proxy?
How do I build a support circle before I need one?
Who could help after a hospital stay?
How do I find people nearby who understand what it means to age solo?
The Navigating Solo™ Network offers a private, peer-to-peer community where solo agers can begin building those connections — and, at the Full Access level, work through real-life planning challenges together.
No commercial solicitation. No sales pitches. No need to explain why these questions matter.
You are among people who understand.

Plus: Shared Spark: Connected Solo™ Action Labs
Not another webinar — a place to turn intentions into action.
Shared Spark Action Labs are facilitated, 60-minute small-group working sessions where 8–10 solo agers gather around real-life planning challenges. You don't need to arrive with all the answers - just bring your question.
Questions We Explore Together:
“I don't have an emergency contact. Now what?”
“Who is my 3 a.m. person — and what if I don't have one?”
“How do I ask someone to be part of my support circle?”
“Who could speak for me if I couldn't speak for myself?”
“What would happen if I went to the hospital tomorrow?”
“Who could serve as executor or another trusted role if family isn't an option?”
“How do I know which professionals I can trust?”
“What happens if I can no longer drive, get out easily, or manage everything on my own?”
How Each 60-Minute Action Lab Works
CONNECT (10 Minutes): Settle in, meet your small group, and establish the session focus.
EXPLORE TOGETHER (40 Minutes): Share challenges, hear how peers are approaching similar situations, and explore possibilities in a supportive, facilitated environment.
LEAVE WITH MOMENTUM (10 Minutes): Identify 1–2 realistic, actionable next steps you can take with confidence.
What You Get as a Member
Full Connection Registry Benefits: Access to all foundational registry resources and peer connections.
Year-Round Action Labs: Ongoing access to monthly small-group working sessions throughout the year.
Flexible Scheduling Options: Choose between two session times each month (one daytime ET session and one early-evening ET session) to fit your time zone and schedule.
Intentionally Small Groups: Capped at 8–10 participants to ensure everyone has space for meaningful conversation and participation.
Commercial-Free Environment: A safe, non-transactional space with no sales pitches, advertising, or solicitation.
Facilitated Peer Perspective: Benefit from shared wisdom, lived experiences, and peer encouragement—with a facilitator keeping the conversation structured, focused, and forward-moving.
This Level Is Right For You If:
You recognize planning steps you need to address, but keep putting them off.
You aren't sure where to begin or feel overwhelmed by family-centric planning models.
You value gentle accountability to help turn good intentions into practical progress.
You are seeking more than information—you want a place to explore possibilities, decide, and take the next step.
You don't have to navigate every part of solo aging alone. Sometimes progress begins with one question, one idea, one shared spark.
Shared Spark provides facilitated peer discussion and planning frameworks. It does not replace individualized legal, financial, healthcare, or other professional advice.
Designed for Solos, By Solos
This is a peer community for solo agers.
To protect the trust, privacy, and purpose of the community, participation is for individuals joining in their personal capacity as solo agers — not to market services, recruit clients, conduct research, solicit business, or promote professional offerings.
Professionals who are themselves solo agers are welcome to participate as peers, with the same no-solicitation expectations as every other member.
The goal is simple: a private space where connection can remain genuinely peer-to-peer..
What to Expect & Community Guidelines
Privacy First
Your privacy matters. Only your first name, last initial, general location/region, and the information you choose to share about your connection interests are visible to other members. Your full name is not displayed in the Registry.
You Decide How Much to Share
You choose what information to include in your profile and how you would like other members to connect with you. Building trust takes time, and there is no expectation that you share personal information before you are comfortable doing so.
Optional Privacy Tip
Some members prefer to create a separate email address used only for Navigating Solo™ community connections. This is completely optional (you set it up on your own) and can provide an additional layer of privacy for peer-to-peer communication.
No Commercial Solicitation
The Registry, discussion community, and Shared Spark Action Labs are not places to advertise services, recruit clients, promote businesses, or solicit members.
Protect Our Shared Space
Membership credentials, passwords, directory access, discussion-group access, and Shared Spark session links are for the individual member only and may not be shared with others.
Respectful Peer Connection
Members are expected to communicate respectfully, honor one another’s boundaries, and recognize that every person’s experience of solo aging is different.
