Orange County Department on Aging: Solo Agers Interest Group, Chapel Hill, NC

Solo Agers Interest Group, Seymour Center, Chapel Hill, NC

The Solo Agers Interest Group consists of older adults making decisions about their future independently. You might be a solo ager if you are:

  • an individual or couple without children,

  • an individual who never married or had children,

  • an individual living alone since the divorce or death of a partner, or

  • an individual or couple whose children or relatives live far away or are estranged.

Come meet other solo agers, share resources and learn together the 4th Wednesday of each month from 4:00 p.m. ~ 6:00 p.m. at the Seymour Center, Chapel Hill, NC (Orange County residency *not* required).

This interest group is sponsored by the Orange County Department on Aging.

The Navigating Solo Network shares select events offered by trusted organizations serving solo agers. These programs are hosted independently, and all questions, registration, and participation details should be directed to the sponsoring organization.
